Last night I was sick. I ate something during the day that did not agree with me. Food poisoning or something bad... I am not sure, but I was up several times during the night vomiting. No one else...just me. I was better in the morning. I was able to eat some toast and rice, and keep some water down. Today was spent doing the final packing up. We had our final McDonald' s lunch with Vickie, Chloe and Phoebe. A final play date in the garden, and feeding the fish. We had to check out at 4:00pm, and then wait in the lobby, for Richard to bring Caitlin's passport with her Visa in it to allow her to enter the US. We do then had a van arranged to drive us to Hong Kong. The van driver was a maniac. Speeding, then slamming on the brakes, swerving from lane to lane, in between buses, trucks, etc. Caitlin got car sick and vomited in the first 25 minutes of what was supposed to be a three hour ride. Thankfully, she told me, and I had a plastic grocery bag, so I had something she could use to get sick in. So there I was with a queasy tummy to begin with, and I had to smell vomit for another 2 hours. We made it in 2 1/2 hours, since our driver was going so fast. We spent the night at the Sky City Marriott right next to the airport. Since it was almost 8:00pm when we arrived, we ordered room service for dinner. Caitlin choose fish sticks, and ate them all! The girls love it when we order room service, and while it was a pretty pricey dinner, it was worth it not to have to go out.

We had to double up in the beds tonight. Caitlin slept with me, and Claire and Camille shared the other bed. Tonight was the first hint at sadness I have seen in Caitlin. She got out the book of photos I had sent. She has two small photos of friends, or perhaps two of her nannies. One of them wrote a QQ number on the back, and Caitlin indicated that she wanted to call/contact her. I told her "no". She then went to bed with the two pictures holding them and kissing them until she fell asleep.
