Sunday, January 20, 2013 Today was our excursion to the Wild Animal Safari Park. We had a large group today, with more of the Madison families who had been in other provinces getting the children. It was fun. We took a tram ride thru the park.....not as exciting as the real thing...but ok. We did a lot of walking. Vickie's daughter decided she did not want to walk, so she rented a stroller to push her. Later, Caitlin wanted to ride, then both Caitlin and Phoebe took turns pushing it. The girls fed the giraffes, had ice cream, played hacky sack. We got back and Mommy had a little rest, then we went to meet the other families for some more play time. While at Vickie's, Caitlin was asked if she wanted her ears pierced like my other girls. She did, so Vickie pierced them right then! Not a tear, and you can see from the picture, she is quite pleased. We fed the fish, played hackey sack, and went to dinner. Dinner turned out to be a disaster. We kind of got lost, the restaurant was not where I thought it was. We lost part of the Mulvihill family, and even Jean's whistling did not work to find them. Vickie' family and ours finally made it to the restaurant, and Phoebe got locked in the bathroom. Phoebe is vision impaired, and could not see to get the door unlocked, so they had to break the door down. I think we are all tired, and missing home. Only four more sleeps, a long plane ride, and we will be home!
